Both Christy and Beth have a love for all things red, especially red technology. Both designers do all of their design work on the Dell XPS M1530 in red. Since Christy refers to her laptop as Ruby and Beth refers to her laptop as Roja, which means red in Spanish, (pronounced ro – ha) the name Ruby & Roja was born. And since www.bedesign.com was taken, they jumped at the chance to name their business Ruby & Roja Design, a name they both love.
The name came in the most beautiful and natural way.
Oh and they are both proud owners of red Blackberries, too. (Ruby Junior and Roja Junior, of course.)
