We have been totally lazy about posting over here. Not because we’re lazy really, but because we’re busy designing and stuff. And because some of us went to Blissdom. Ahem. I’m totally not jealous or resentful or jealous or anything like that. Nope, not me.
So while Beth and Sarah were whooping it up in Nashville, I was sitting in small town Texas getting laptop burns on my thighs and bringing loveliness to the blogosphere. Like this fabulous design I did for Meghan at A Mom Two Boys. Isn’t it amazing? I think so, and so does she because she cussed alot when she saw it. Like, good cussing. I won’t repeat it here, but it really did make my day!!
And this other design I did for AllMediocre (also Meghan) and she didn’t cuss as much, because I think she was tyring to be more Mediocre and stuff.
Then there Jennifer’s design that’s brand spanking new and hot off the presses. Very lovely, no?
Earlier last week when we reopened our queue, we eluded to the fact we have a new designer here at ruby & roja. Well, she finally got her stuff together and I finally got my stuff together and got her bio and picture up on the behind the designs page.
Meet Sarah. She’s beautiful, sweet, funny as hell, and wicked talented. She’s also new mom to handsome little Asher.
A graduate of Purdue University and Chicago’s American Academy of Art, Sarah comes to the party with over ten years of experience in art direction, graphic design and marketing. From her cozy little nest on the shores of Lake Michigan, Sarah is chasing inspiration wherever it leads. She’s a lover, a fighter, a blogger and a mother.
Things she loves—the laughter of her baby boy, the wit of her husband, and a good choreographed dance scene.

Happy New Year from the ruby & roja crew. We hope your holidays were merry and bright.
Yes, the queue is open again and it’s filling up fast. We’ve added a new member to our team and will fill you in on the details a little later. All I can say is she ROCKS. And not only is she an awesome blog designer, she’s also on fire with logo and print design. Check back soon for some updates to our portfolio with her wonderful work!
More to come soon, promise. Right now we have to get to work on the growing list of clients in line for new designs for the new year.
Our queue will be closed from December 5th to January 5th. We have lots of new and exciting things coming with the New Year, and keep in mind that we won’t have a wait when we reopen the queue! How exciting is that?
